First up is the reformulated Mascara Supra Volume* ,which -as the name suggests- is a super volumising mascara. What I find stands out more than anything with this offering is that it lengthens like no other; it coats each individual lash, creating an almost false lash effect in an instant. I was skeptical to give this a try at first as my eyes have been feeling sensitive due to hayfever, but this didn't irritate my eyes as much as other mascaras have been doing, so it has remained in my makeup during the hotter weeks this Summer.
Next up are the new 4- Colour Eyeshadow Palettes*, a quad made up of various shades to create a range of different looks. 01 Nude is tailored more towards blue eyes with a pink, grey and dark brown-black to compliment each other. Although I have dark blue eyes, I actually find 03 Brown more suited for me as the colours create a soft, smokey eye that is perfect for everyday wear. All of the eyeshadows have beautiful, luxe formulas that slide and blend effortlessly onto the lids, but the quads are slightly let down by two shades in particular, the hues on the left side of the palettes. These lighter shades don't quite live up to the pigmentation of the rest of the palette, but if you ignore them and go in for the trio then you're in for a treat. If you're looking for a quick, simple eye look that you don't need to put much thought into then these are definitely for you.
If there's something I love it's foundations; a lightweight, medium coverage base being a staple in my makeup bag all year round. When I first tried the BB Skin Detox Fluid* I wasn't too sure due to the lack of shade range, but I have definitely warmed to it. It's not one I use on a regular basis, but when mixed in with a touch of the Sleek Bare Kissed Illuminator*, it creates a glorious, dewy finish that has just the right amount of coverage. If you have temperamental skin, like myself, you may need to steer clear of this offering as the scent is strong and has caused slight flakiness of the skin when worn.
