When December rolls around, I try and put a more effort into my Christmas makeup and now more than ever, I'm trying to add a little extra shimmer and sparkle to my routine. Here is the makeup I will be sporting until the end of the year.

Recently I've been wearing a lightweight base regularly, but for this look, I've opted for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Luminous Foundation* as it offers extra coverage and never fails to make my complexion look flawless. When applied with a Beauty Blender, it looks lightweight and doesn't feel like you're wearing a buildable medium coverage foundation at all.

After applying the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer*, a product I've re-discovered and loved this year, I set my face with the Huda Beauty Easy Bake Loose Powder for added longevity and to make my complexion look super smooth.

For added definition, I use the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow*, a long time favourite of mine to sculpt the cheekbones and add a glow around my face too. With an slight pop of colour added to my cheeks, I go in with my Charlotte Tilbury The Duchess Lipstick* which is a nude pink hue that looks great with any outfit and can be easily reapplied on the go.

On my nails, I will be using Essie's Let's Party* paired with my snowflake nail stickers for an easy festive look. I slather myself in the Sol De Janeiro Bum Bum Cream* as it smells absolutely heavenly and then spritz the Marc Jacobs Dasiy Perfume all over!

What's your Christmas makeup routine?

Last Minute Christmas Gift Guide

Last Minute Christmas Gift Guide
Molton Brown Christmas Gift Set

With just a week to go until the big day, you may still be panic buying people's presents and looking out for new ideas. I know how difficult it can be to think about presents under pressure, so I have compiled a list for my last minute Christmas gift guide.

If you're really struggling on what to get someone, I'm sure that everyone could do with a little extra self care after this year. I think a luxury bath and body set like this Molton Brown Trio* would go down a treat! If you want something along those lines or need some stocking fillers then I'm sure a Octo Candle, a face mask or a pair of cosy slippers would also be well received.

I've personally asked for a pair of Dr Martens Leonore Boots and I know a few other people have too. Clothing and shoes can be a great way to add a personal spin to a present as nothing says you know a person more than knowing what they'd wear on a daily basis!

A Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser is something luxury that I think would be a popular present to receive, but isn't something that people would buy themselves. I often think along those lines when buying people a present as it can make it even more special to open on the big day.

Christmas Home Decor Finds

Christmas Home Decor Finds

With just over two weeks until the big day, I don't know about you, but I'm in the full festive swing. If you're looking for some Christmas home decor inspiration or you're unsure on where to look, I have curated a list of my current favourite finds.

After sharing my Christmas doormat on my Instagram the other week, I thought I would go on the hunt for some other festive finds that you can pick up now. This Christmas Tree Door Mat would be the one I'd go for if I hadn't already picked up mine!

I've been meaning to pick up a Christmas tree skirt for the longest time as I feel like it really finishes off a tree perfectly. This Snowflake Patterned Christmas Tree Skirt is top of my list at the moment, although I'm quite tempted by this Faux Fur Tree Skirt instead.

Festive cushions are something that I bring out every year and they really help me transform my bedroom and living area. I'm a fan of the H&M Cushion Covers as I love their inserts and this Deer Print Cotton Cushion is one I'm looking to pick up next. Saying that, this Marks and Spencer Joy Cushion looks dreamy with it's embroidered detail.

On Etsy I have been looking at this Beginners White Frosty Christmas Wreath Kit which I think would be great idea for a festive afternoon activity. I'm also very tempted by this White Ceramic House Wax Warmer, not only is it functional, but it looks adorable too!

What's On My Christmas List

Christmas Wishlist 2020

Over the months leading up to Christmas, I always think I'll be organised and jot down any ideas I have for what friends and family could get me if they ask. Then, it gets to a couple of weeks before the big day and my mind has gone blank! If you're struggling with the same thing, I've got just the blog post for you - my Christmas list for 2020 (and a couple of 'if only' picks).

Top of my list are a pair of Dr Martens Leonore Chelsea Boots which I think would see me through Winters to come and keep my toes super warm too! I am also contemplating putting these Red Hunter Wellington Boots on my list too as I think they would be something I'd keep for many years.

I already have a pumpkin shaped one, but I couldn't resist adding this Love Heart Shaped Waffle Maker on my list too. I think they're super adorable and make for a great weekend breakfast addition - it'd be a good present for others too!

5 Things I've Added To My December To-Do List

December To Do List

December is now here and I honestly feel like November just flew by! We're now less than a month away from the end of the year and I'm fully embracing the festivities now. Today, I wanted to share with you what's on this months to-do list with you - expect lots of mentions of Christmas!

Bake Some Tasty Treats | Throughout the year I've really re-kindled the love for baking. I've been kneading bread, perfecting my cake recipe and whipping up some new recipes! I want to continue the love for baking, but with a Christmas twist throughout the month.

Start My Christmas Shopping | I'd like to pretend that I'm that super organised person, but honestly I tend to rely on next day delivery a lot throughout the month of December. I do want to break that tradition and instead get on top of my Christmas shopping sooner rather later just so that I can kick back and relax a little more when it gets nearer to the big day.

Enjoy The Little Things | Now we're in December, it can be difficult to slow down and soak up all the joys this month has to offer. One of the things I want to do is to take nightly walks around the neighbourhood to see the twinkling lights on people's houses and get some fresh air.

Have A Christmas Film Night | We had a 'practice' Christmas day the other weekend full of games, films and even a roast dinner with all the trimmings. It was absolutely delightful and although I wouldn't want to do it regularly as it'd be sure to take the shine off Christmas a bit, I do want to do a Christmas film marathon regularly in the build up to the big day.

Look Out For Some New Winter Pieces | I'm mostly inspired by Autumn and Spring fashion the most and Winter tends to get a little repetitive in my wardrobe especially post-christmas when I can't rely on sequins and Christmas jumpers. I've been adding lots of pieces to my wishlist because I'd love to experiment a little bit more with my style in the new year.
