As a beauty blogger, I often get the opportunity to try out lots of new products and although it can be a little overwhelming at times, it's definitely a perk of the job. You don't often get to see the products I've tried and not been a fan of, so today I thought I'd share with you the items that are currently on trial in my routine.

First up we have a new haircare product that I've been using and I felt like it needed a mention as I've never seen anything like it before. The Schwarzkopf got2b Farewell Flyaways* is what I'm talking about which is essentially a mascara for your hair, but it exceeded my expectations the minute I used it. I was worried it would turn my hair crispy, but it's the complete opposite. Not only does it smell divine, but it makes my hair feel super soft due to the serum formula and it's easy to use on the go for touch ups.

Then it's onto skincare and I've got a couple of products that have made it's way into my routine. I've been using the Garnier Micellar Rose Water* for the last month and I'm still on the fence about it. From all of the variations that Garnier have released, none of them ever live up to the original because it's that good, so I like to judge them on what else they have to offer. The rose one isn't bad, but it doesn't blow my socks off either as it's not very good at removing my makeup, but it's nice if I want a morning refresher.

The other skincare item I've been trialling is the Pixi Hydrating Milky Cleanser* which I've had for just over a week, but I already have some thoughts. Pixi kindly sent over the full range, but it's the cleanser that I delved into first as I was in dire need of a new pick. I currently use it as my second cleanse and it works exceptionally well at making my complexion feel clean, but it does leave a slight residue that feels like it could break people out. It's nothing that a swipe of toner can't fix, but I'm still undecided on whether I recommend this cleanser or not, it's got a lot to live up to with one of my favourite products being the Pixi Glow Tonic Cleansing Gel*
