A January Skin Detox

You probably know the drill by now, but as January has come around, the tubs of quality street and beige party food has taken it's toll on my skin. My complexion is looking a little lacklustre and is in dire need of a detox, so today I'm sharing with you the products I've been reaching for to get it back into tip-top condition.

The Glossier Mega Greens Galaxy Pack is one of a handful clay masks that I'll repurchase over and over again. Although it draws out imperfections effectively, it doesn't dehydrate my complexion in the process which means I reach for it whenever I'm suffering with blemishes, but I'm feeling sensitive.

Drunk Elephant really had their moment last year when they finally came to the UK and I of course had to jump on the bandwagon. The T.L.C Framboos Glycolic Night Serum* is similar to their famous baby facial, but just a little less intense. This is the perfect product for a January skin detox because exfoliates the skin, leaving it feeling soft, glowing and smooth.

A different liquid exfoliator that you could choose is the Glow Recipe Pineapple C-Bright Serum* which I find is less effective than the Drunk Elephant for really getting rid of dry patches, but it thrives in making my skin look brighter and clearer.

To hydrate my skin afterwards, I reach for the Herbivore Emerald Deep Moisture Glow Oil* which I think the name pretty much sums up everything it does. This thick oil feels almost like an overnight face mask, but it leaves the skin feeling less tight and more nourished this is perfect for a makeup-free Sunday.
