Lush Christmas Collection

I can't tell you how long I've waited to publish this post as I wanted to wait until after Halloween to start even getting an ounce of excitement for Christmas. Lush's festive range always makes me excited and as there were a few new additions to their collection this year, I just knew I had to do a blog post on it.

First up is Cheery Christmas which is a berry scented bath bomb that has a surprise blue hue on the inside that opens up as it fizzes. It feels ultra silky on the skin, but without leaving that odd residue behind. I have to say it does crumble a little bit even before use so if you've got a big haul, it's the one I'd use first.

Despite being ever so slightly disappointed that the Candy Cane isn't peppermint scented, this reusable bubble bar is great at getting lots of bubbles for a whole week's worth of baths as you honestly only need to hold it under the running water for a little.

I'm not sure why, but I wasn't expecting much from the Puddy Holly and I definitely didn't expect to like it as much as I do. It's got a dusting of glitter over the top that doesn't overpower it and when crumbled into the bath, it creates a whirling green water with lots of bubbles to dive into. It's almond scented which means it smells like sweet marzipan and it's honestly a treat to use!

Every year I always have to put the Magic Wand in my basket because it won't surprise you when I say that the Snow Fairy scent is one of my favourite scents for this time of the year. It's a reusable bubble bar again which means you get multiple baths from it and the bubbles are hydrating on the body too. Talking of Snow Fairy, the shower gel is one that I haven't bought in a couple of years now as I tend to opt for Sleepy or Rose Jam, two of my other go-to's. The bubblegum fragrance lingers on the skin and lathers up which is perfect for soft, smooth skin.

If you were familiar with The Comforter then you'll definitely want to check out Sugar Plum Fairy Lip Scrub as they have exactly the same scent. This product helps to scrub away all my dead skin from my lips ready for lipstick application and is great for this time of the year when my lips aren't feeling too good.

Another product I buy every year is the Butterbear bath bomb which delivers a simple, delicate scent and feels ultra softening on the skin due to the cocoa butter in the formula. It might not be for everybody if you're more into the array of colours and scents, but I think it's the perfect evening addition.

Other Christmas products I want to try is the Goddess Bath Bomb which just looks and sounds amazing - I feel like the array of silvery, glittering water would be perfect on Christmas eve.

Will you be picking anything up from the Lush Christmas range?
