A Few Favourites

The heatwave has made me dig out some old favourites to keep my makeup in place and has inspired me to try out some new products too. It hasn't been that long since I shared a full post dedicated to my current favourites, but I wanted to share these top picks anyway.

For makeup, I've been using what I recently mentioned in the Summer Makeup Routine a lot, but I thought I'd emphasise on just how much I've been loving three of the items here too. The Glossier Wowder Powder has really helped to keep any shine at bay and despite being fairly light, it helps smooth out my complexion. Then the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz* has helped to shape, fill in and make my brows fuller without running the risk of them running down my face too as this pencil stays put more than I thought it would. To set my makeup, I spritz the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray* over it and it so good at making sure my base is pretty much sweat-proof (although some of the days recently even this didn't help!)

I'm having a bit of a love affair with skincare at the moment as I'm trying to get my skin is the best condition possibly so I don't feel like I have to wear as much coverage. The Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel* helps to keep my skin feeling soft, supple and super clear, whilst the Drunk Elephant Baby Facial works at getting rid of my dry patches and perking it up. My moisturiser of choice is the Caudalie Vinosource Moisturising Sorbet* which is lightweight, hydrating and great for underneath makeup for a radiant look.

My lips got burnt on a trip recently, so I've been relying on the Dr.Lipp Nipple Balm* to help soothe my lips and get them back into tip-top condition without them looking so flakey.

I've been having a thing for mixing and matching perfumes to create individual scents that remind me of certain days of the Summer. Fresh florals mixed with deep musky fragrances and delicate rose paired with an intense cologne are just a few of the ways I've been wearing my perfumes over the past few weeks.

The Nuxe After-Sun Lotion* is what has been keeping my body from looking too dehydrated after spending some time in the sun as it helps to keep my tan looking lovely for weeks whilst making my limbs feel extremely hydrated too.

Although shower gel isn't the most riveting of topics for many, I love them. I always like to pick a scent that will make me actually enjoy my shower time and I like to make sure I always have a favourite in there with me too. The Original Source picks are just delightful and smell almost edible. The sweet rhubarb and raspberry is my go-to at the moment as it smells like sweets and I love lathering this up everywhere.
