15 Films To Watch This Christmas

Christmas Films To Watch

There's nothing quite like settling down on a frosty evening with a hot chocolate in hand to watch a Christmas film. I'm all about those festive film marathons, but if you're struggling to narrow down your next watch, then hopefully this blog post helps you out!

The Holiday | I've added this to my must watch Christmas list for several years now. The cutest cottage that features in the film gives me all the cosy feels and I just love the storyline despite it being super cheesy! It's a proper good pick if you're looking to snuggle up and watch something on a Sunday evening.

Arthur Christmas | Arthur Christmas often doesn't make it high up on anyone's favourite Christmas film list, but personally I adore it! I think it's so charming and as it's family friendly everyone can watch it. It's a simple storyline, but will all the heartwarming touches!

Home Alone | Everything I watch both Home Alone and Home Alone 2 it gives me all the nostalgic feelings. I just love how it's always entertaining despite watching it year upon year. It's definitely a tradition for me to watch them both over the Christmas period. I personally find them great as a Christmas eve watch!

  • Last Christmas
  • Elf
  • Love Actually
  • Nativity!
  • The Christmas Chronicles
  • Jingle Jangle
  • Noelle
  • The Grinch
  • Rise of The Guardians
  • Four Christmases
  • The Santa Clause
  • The Polar Express

What are your favourite Christmas films?

15 Things To Do This Christmas

Things To Do This Christmas

December 1st has been and gone, which can only mean one thing - the Christmas countdown is on! Personally, I prefer the lead up to Christmas over the actual day, so I've decided to spread some festive joy today by sharing all the things I want to do on the run up to the 25th.

Have A Festive Film Marathon | I feel like I've been in the festive mood for some time now, but I'm yet to make a dent in my Christmas film list. Last year, I lacked quite a bit with films I wanted to tick off, but this year I've got snacks and blankets at the ready. Home Alone and Elf are yearly must watches, but I'm looking to watch the more quirkier ones too.

Go For A Frosty Morning Walk | It feels like Autumn transitioned into Winter overnight, but that can only mean the arrival of misty mornings. I absolutely love going for walks throughout all the seasons, but there's just some extra effort needed to get myself out of bed in the morning in the warm. Once wrapped up warm, I find walking in the morning is a great way to spend some quiet time to yourself and appreciate how magical and still that time in the day feels.

Get Creative | Something that immediately puts me in the festive mood is getting creative. I love the little DIY's I've found on Pinterest like this Gnome DIY Garland and Simple Dried Orange Garland too. Getting crafty on a chilly weekend is a great way to spend the weekend!

Bake Some Christmas Treats | It feels like a tradition now to make sure December is full of festive bakes. Last year felt like it was hard to beat, but I want to push myself this year by doing some baking I've shied away from like the classic yule log - watch this space!

Decorate The House | I've had my tree up for a couple weeks now and I've slowly decorated throughout my house too, but I've still got some lights to put up to get my house to feel extra cosy. Decorating the house early has meant I've had longer to appreciate it, but I've also noticed some sparse areas that need filling.

  • Donate to your local food bank.
  • Look at your local Christmas lights.
  • Read a Christmas book.
  • Put together a Christmas playlist.
  • Make your own mulled wine.
  • Visit a Christmas tree farm.
  • Wrap up your presents.
  • Go To A Christmas market for lots of food.
  • Get yourself some mistletoe to hang up!
  • Have a games night with friends.

What are your plans this Christmas?

Etsy Christmas Shops To Check Out

Etsy Christmas Shops
- All links in this blog post are affiliate links. For more info head to my disclaimer. -

I feel like my Etsy seasonal posts have become a tradition of mine and I love spending some time looking for the best festive finds. Around this time of the year, I like to check out what small business have to offer in terms of home decor and accessories, so if you're looking to get into the Christmas spirit then this post is perfect for you.

I've been looking for some mugs to share with you as I know how popular my finds are and I think I've outdone myself here. This Gingerbread Man Mug is absolutely adorable and perfect for your peppermint hot chocolate, but this Gingerbread Glass is even cuter in my opinion - I just need to find a use for it.

Everyone knows that I love a novelty cushion and it wouldn't be the same if I didn't try and find a Christmas one. This Candy Cane Pillow looks absolutely adorable, but they also have a Christmas Pudding version which is equally as cute! If you want something understated, then I really like the design of this Christmas Tree Farm Cushion as it's simple and would go with a variety of home decor styles.

I think a new candle around the festive period is a great way to get yourself in the mood. There's a lot to choose from, but I really like this Christmas Pillar Candle which you can choose which scent you want out of Holly Berry and Candy Cane. This Gingerbread Man Shaped Candle is another one I found and it's almost too cute to burn.

I absolutely love my Wire Brush Tree Decorations as they really fill any empty spots around my house, plus I feel like they can stay up throughout Winter too. Another decoration that I think can stay up throughout the year if you want is Tea Light Houses and I've been after a couple for some time. I wouldn't want ones to be uniform with one another as I love how unique they look when you have a few different styles (like a Christmas village!).

Stepping away fro Christmas home decor, I have been looking at some of the style pieces that Etsy has to offer. These Gingerbread Men Earrings are a super novelty piece, but they're fun for Christmas festivities. If that isn't your kind of thing, then this snuggly Christmas Tree Farm Sweater may be!

Early Christmas Outfit Ideas

If you're not ready to get into the Christmas spirit, then look away now! I'm as surprised as any with how quickly November has come around and although I'm still in the Autumn mood, I can't help but get a little excited about the festive season upon us. Christmas outfits are some of my favourite to wear, I love the sequins, the tartan prints and any excuse to feel like you've stepped out of a Hallmark film. Here are some of my favourite early seasonal favourites.

First up, I have to talk about my Son De Flor Tartan Dress* which is a perfect pick for the Christmas period and one that I think I will get so much wear out of throughout Winter. It's perfect for twirling in and fits like a dream.

I feel like checkered prints are really having their moment in my wardrobe, so I've also been looking at some other pieces that I think would look great this Winter. This Joanie Tartan Circle Skirt comes in two colours that would look amazing this time of the year with a classic Christmas jumper or just a simple roll neck.

Christmas jumpers have to be one of the first things I look for and I feel like they often get a bad rep for being ugly. Now I'm not saying I'm not partial to an OTT jumper, but I love the ones that can be worn everyday is wanted. This H&M Gingerbread option is high up on my list as well as this Dorothy Perkins Robin Jumper one which I think could be styled in a super cute way.

I've been telling myself I'm going to treat myself to a fresh set of Christmas pyjamas this year, but now I'm struggling to narrow it down to just one. This H&M Tartan Set is too cute to miss, but I'm also tempted by this Oasis Christmas Scene Pair which also looks so snuggly.

To go with the pyjamas, I have also been eyeing up some extras like cosy socks and slippers. I feel like a lot of you will absolutely adore these ASOS Fairisle Sausage Dog Socks, but if you want something warmer than these New Look Mule Slippers look great.

5 Tips On Applying False Eyelashes

- This post is a paid collaboration with Boots UK, but all thoughts are my own. -

When you think of false eyelashes you'll probably think of them as being fiddly, hard to apply and uncomfortable, but that doesn't have to be the way at all. Finding the right false eyelashes and the perfect technique to applying them are just a couple of ways to make them far less daunting to add to your routine.

Choosing Your False Eyelashes

As someone who as once a daily false eyelash wearer, I've definitely learnt a fair few lessons from my previous disasters like what kind of eyelashes suit my eye shape and how to make them stay on all night. Although I now save wearing false eyelashes for a special occasion, it only means that I'm on more of a quest to find the perfect pair. Ardell have always been a favourite brand of mine as they always have a variety of pairs to choose from, plus they're comfortable and easy to apply.

Ill-fitting eyelashes not only feel uncomfortable to wear, but they can also affect how long your eyelashes will stay on. If they're too long they're more prone to lifting at the edges which will mean they can come off easier. I would always recommend measuring your eyelash of choice against your eye first to check whether they need trimming.

If you're a new user of false eyelashes, I would recommend steering clear on individual lashes as they can be hard to position right on the eye, but instead opt for the classic strip lashes like the Ardell Natural Lashes. These feel lightweight to wear, plus they look great with variety of eye looks. Once you've got your application technique perfected strip eyelashes can also be one of the best choices if you're looking for quick and easy.

If you're not a new wear, then I'd say there's always things to learn when it comes to false eyelashes. Ardell Lashes come in a variety of lengths and fullness to choose fro, so there's going to be something for everybody, whether you're going for the intense look or more of a natural one.

Finding The Best Technique

The task of actually applying your false eyelashes can feel rather daunting, but once you've played around with a variety of techniques and finding your favourite, you'll find it gets easier with each application.

Before we start talking about the application itself, I wanted to talk about something even more important - lash glue! It's something that is often overlooked, but I can't stress how key it is to a lasting eyelash application. A clear eyelash glue, especially for beginners, is a great option as not being able to see it means it can cover many mistakes. You want to apply your eyelash glue along the band, making sure not to miss the ends, then wait 30 seconds. Once it starts to get tacky, you're ready to use your favourite technique to secure it to your lash line.

I like to bend the lash strip around my fingers to make it more flexible, so it is able to fit around the curve of my eye more neatly. When it comes to application, some people like to use their own fingers to get the feel of the lashes, but for me, I prefer using tweezers or a lash applicator. With this method I find it easier to get precision and to place the lashes where I want them to sit on my eyes.

Some More Top Tips

Adding a liquid black eyeliner into your routine is a great way to cover up any mistakes you have made, it can also help you pre-application as well. If you draw a black line where you want to apply your eyelashes, it'll give you a guide on where to put them. If you don't want to add black eyeliner, then I would recommend trying out the Ardell Naked Lashes. The invisible band makes them stand out amongst the rest, as they give off a barely there look and feel.

Curling your own natural lashes before false eyelash application can make them look more natural and get a seamless blend between the two. If this still hasn't blended them quite enough, then applying just one light layer of mascara after you're finished can also do the trick!

How do you apply your false eyelashes?

Early Christmas Decor Finds

Early Christmas Decorations 2021
- All links in this blog post are affiliate links. For more info head to my disclaimer. -

Don't panic - I'm not quite ready to decorate for the festive season yet and this photo is from a couple years back! That being said, I have started to look out for some new Christmas home additions for the upcoming months and I thought I'd share my favourite finds with you.

One of my favourite things about decorating for Christmas is all the little bits you can get to go around the house. Scatter cushions always bring me joy and H&M is a shop I always have a look at this time of the year. These Winter Farm Cushion Cover is currently calling my name and I think a few of you would love this too. Although definitely not a must, I love the look of this H&M Christmas Truck Doormat to invite people into the house.

Another thing I love to do is change my duvet cover over once mid November hits, so I've been on the look out for some cute bed sets. This Christmas Pudding Bedding Set is so adorable and despite being festive themed, definitely has a more understated feel to it. If you want to be extra cosy then maybe check out this Fleece Checked Duvet Set which is everything I think of when I imagine the perfect Christmas bedroom.

Matalan is another shop I love to have a look at because they often have some great bargains and cute finds. This Christmas Tree Serving Plate will definitely come in handy if you're having guests over. I've also been looking at this Christmas Tree Ornament as I have ones similar to this, but I really want more to dot around the house.

I think it's safe to say I have a problem when it comes to seasonal mugs, but that doesn't stop me from finding the best ones to enable everyone else. This Jumbo Tree Mug looks like it'll be perfect for your morning coffee, but I also love the look at this Christmas Tea Cup.

DIY Cottagecore Mushroom Hat

DIY Cottagecore Mushroom Hat

 - If a product is marked with a * it is a PR sample, but was sent under no obligation to review. All links in this blog post are affiliate links. For more info head to my disclaimer. -

With Halloween nearly over, I thought now was the perfect time to share one of my favourite costumes this year - the cottagecore mushroom hat. I've been wanting to create ever since I saw A Clothes Horse share her version of this trend. I thought October was the perfect time as the leaves are still turning brown and real mushrooms are popping up all over the woods.

When it actually came to DIY-ing the hat itself, I started off with a plan in mind, but after some time I realised it was best to take each step as it came. I started off by cutting a large circle out of cardboard the size that I wanted the hat to be. I then measured around the circumference of my head and cut another circle out in the middle. I then used the spare cardboard to make an sturdy arch similar to this one featured in the blog post. After that we improvised with the next steps, adding some extra structure around the base so that it could withstand the weight of the extra fabric. With glue gun in hand, I started by pleating the underbelly of the mushroom with white fabric and then flipping it over to cover it completely with the red material and white spots - then I was done!

I was absolutely thrilled with how it turned out and after a morning frolicking around the woods, I felt like an the four evenings making the hat was worth every second - I was officially a woodland fairy mushroom. I knew that I wanted to find the perfect dress to accompany this look, so when I was sent over the Son De Flor Classic Dress* it was love at first sight. I feel like this mushroom is going to get an outing again next year, so definitely watch this space.

10 Things To Do This Halloween

10 Things To Do This Halloween
- All links in this post are affiliate links. For more info head to my disclaimer. -

With Halloween being on a Sunday this year, it feels fitting to tick something off my Halloween to-do list everyday this week. I always like to keep myself busy on the week leading up to the 31st so that I can fit everything. If you're looking for activities to do this week, then here's my top ten things do in the run up to Halloween.

Visit A Pumpkin Patch

I've visited a couple of pumpkin patches this year, but if you haven't yet done so here's your reminder to book in for this weekend. It's a great afternoon activity for all the family - just make sure to wrap up and wear some comfortable boots. After you get back from your trip, carve up your pumpkins or even make them into a delicious soup. Don't forget to roast the seeds for a great snack!

Watch Spooky Films

Whether you opt for a childhood classic or a scary favourite, I love gathering all the snacks, cosy blankets and getting ready to hide behind a cushion. I'm currently challenging myself to watch a different film each evening to get myself ready for the 31st! If you're not really a film person, then there's lots of TV series at the moment to get your teeth (or should I say fangs) into. Squid Game, Only Murders In The Building and the new series of You are all great picks, but there's also old Sabrina The Teenage Witch episodes being shown if you want a dose of nostalgia.

Make A Halloween Snack Board

I put together this Halloween snack board last year and I want to create a similar one this year. I love the savoury take on this because a cheese board at this time of the year is just the best. Think about wrapping your sausages up like mummies, making some bat shaped crackers and even turning olives into spiders. Whilst that all sounds delicious, I'm also tempted to try out sweet snack board full to the brim of all my favourite Halloween sweets as well as some homemade cookies too! You can find baking inspiration on my Instagram reels.

Decorate Your House

I've already decorated for Halloween, but if you've been meaning to, then here's your reminder! I have put together some of my favourite below if you're looking to pick up some last minute bits.

Here are some other ideas:

- Check out if any houses local to you have decorated for Halloween.

- Make a Halloween playlist (here's mine!).

- Dress up!

- Have a Lush Halloween bath.

- Go to a corn maize or haunted house.

- Cook with a pumpkin themed dinner (think soup or even make your own gnocchi).

What are your Halloween plans this year?

New Autumn Skincare

- This blog post is a paid collaboration with -

Autumn is now here and that means I've gone on a quest to find some new additions to my morning and evening skincare routine to help combat all my skin woes. have lots of beauty products and brands to look through including Murad, Trilogy and Elemis, so there's something for everybody. I've recently picked out four new products perfect for the new season that all help to fight my dehydrated, irritated complexion.

I've been wanting to pick up a new cleanser for the first part of my double cleanse for a little while. has got a wide variety of skincare to choose from, so narrowing it down to the Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm wasn't easy. I wanted something that was going to feel luxurious and get to work quickly to remove every trace of makeup, so this offering ticked all of those boxes. The texture turns from a balm to an oil once mixed with water, so it gets rid of any makeup I have on from the day. Another plus to this is that a little goes a long way and this balm is already quite sizeable, so this should last me a fair few months of use.

In Autumn, my skin often needs a little TLC to help banish any dry patches I have, so I've picked up the REN Skincare Evercalm Ultra Comforting Rescue Mask to aid with that. The thick formula helps to combat a dehydrated complexion in just 10 minutes leaving my skin feeling softer and looking plumper. This is perfect for days when you've been out in the cold and you feel like your skin needs some help to feel less irritated.

My eyes around Autumn tend to get dry and chapped from changing temperatures, so I picked up the REN Skincare Radiance Brightening Dark Circle Eye Cream to help with keeping them moisturised and soft. The formula is thick, so it feels intensely hydrating, but it sinks in quickly and gets to work straight away.

The Elemis Superfood Glow Priming Moisturiser feels like it bridges the gap between skincare and makeup perfectly. When I don't want to wear a base, this moisturiser is a great addition to my routine as it perks up my complexion without adding any coverage, just giving my skin a natural glow! I think this could work underneath a foundation if you want extra radiance, but personally I'll be using it on no-makeup days.

Have you checked out's beauty range?

Three From Lush Halloween 2021

Lush Halloween 2021

If you've ever been in a Lush shop, you'll know that it can be a little overwhelming knowing where to look first. Checking out the Lush Halloween in a yearly tradition of mine, but there's three pieces I think stand out amongst the rest, so I thought I'd share with you my favourites.

There's not a year that goes by where I haven't picked up the Punkin Pumpkin bath bomb. Obviously it's adorable to look at, but the subtle cinnamon scent makes it the perfect pick for Autumn. Just sink back into the fluffy orange fizz with a spooky book and candles for the ultimate relaxing evening. I always try and get an extra bath bomb to treat myself to on the 31st October!

The Ghostie Bath Bomb is one I haven't had before, but it's quickly become a favourite - I just hope they bring it back in 2022! Not only is it adorable on the outside, but as once it hits water it reveals a vibrant rainbow swirl. Of course the beautiful colours are noteworthy, but it's actually the scent that I love the most about it. It's almost like sherbet as it's sweet, but without being sickly - plus it sticks around in your bathroom for hours!

Bat Art is another repurchase of mine as although I'm not usually a fan of overly glittery bath products, the strong scent that reminds me of blackcurrant which makes the clean up worth it. It turns the water a deep purple hue that glimmers as you swish it around, plus it fills the bathroom with a delightful scent.

Have you picked up anything from the Lush Halloween 2021 range?

Essie Autumn Nail Picks

Essie Autumn Nail Vanishes

Essie Autumn Nail Vanishes

- If a product is marked with a * it is a PR sample, but sent under no obligation to review. All links in this blog post are affiliate links. For more info head to my disclaimer. -

When I want a quick manicure, I always reach for Essie as they have over a hundred colours to choose from for all occasions. If you're not sure where to start and you want to find a new nail vanish for Autumn, then I've narrowed it down to five of my favourites.

Angora Cardi* continues to make it onto every Essie seasonal post I've ever done. It's named as the most Pinterest worthy nail shade and if you've ever worn it, you'll understand why. It's a deep mauve shade that goes with everything and lasts a considerable amount of time on the nails. Perfect if you want a dark shade, but nothing too overpowering.

One nail vanish that stands out amongst the rest is Cargo Cameo*. If I could sum this up, I would say it reminds me of autumnal woods as the brown with gold speckles reminds me of crisp fallen leaves. Absolutely dreamy if you want a unique looking manicure for this season.

If you want a nail shade darker than Angora Cardi, then I would recommend checking out Bahama Mama. It's a rich plum colour that feels like the perfect shade to wear with a cosy cardigan and comfy socks. There's something about this that I always come back to and despite rarely ever finishing a bottle of nail vanish, I've gone through a couple of these.

Now for something a little different and it's Fishnet Stockings*, a classic red shade that doesn't have a blue or orange undertone, so I think it works well with everything. With two applications, it creates an opaque, shiny finish that means you don't have to wear a top coat with it if you're in a rush. I would go as far to say that if you're only looking to own one red shade, then make sure it is this one.

If you want Halloween in a bottle then look no further as Sole Mate* is just that! It's a deep plum colour that upon glance looks almost black, but the purple hue makes it a super unique shade to have in your collection. I think this would be the perfect pick to pair with nail art at this time of the year, but I personally love wearing it on it's own too especially on the 31st October.

Five Books To Read This October

Halloween Books To Read October

Halloween Books To Read October

- All links in this blog post are affiliate links. For more info head to my disclaimer. -

It's officially the season to get cosy underneath blankets with a book in hand. There's so many books to choose from in October, but I thought I would help narrow down your to-read list by recommending some of my favourites. Perfect for the season of Halloween, these books should get you in the mood to be spooked!

Silent Companions

With mixed reviews, I went into Silent Companions with low expectations, but I was completely gripped by this spooky read. Immediately I got engrossed in the setting and characters as the story flicks between three time periods. If you're a fan of stories set in a classic haunted old house like Haunting of Hill House, then you'll love this. I can already imagine it getting made into a horror film - it's made for it.

It's Behind You

Five contestants of a reality game show make their way into the claustrophobic Umber Gorge caves which are famed for it's ghostly presence called the Puckered Maiden - creeped out yet? It incorporates characters who all have secrets mixed with old folk tales, so it's a gripping read that will have you page turning. Maybe leave the light on whilst reading this one...

The Haunting of Aveline Jones

I don't always want to spooked or not be able to sleep when reading a book, so around Halloween time I like to focus on the books more tailored to children or young adults. The Haunting of Aveline Jones is a great pick for those who want a quick read on the 31st, but still with all the spooky elements. Despite let the middle gram aspect fool you as this makes your hairs stand up on end.

If you're not wanting to be scared too much, but rather intrigued, then I would recommend reading Vicious. It's an anti-hero book with lots of  super villains references throughout which make for a compelling read - great for snuggling up under a blanket as the wind and rain tap on your window.

I feel like with the month of October being the home to Halloween, I have to give a quick mention to a classic. I think everyone should add just one Halloween classic to their to-read pile at this time of the year whether it's a delving into a Stephen King novel or exploring the world of Dracula, sometimes the old favourites, like Frankenstein that are the best. I've got the Barnes and Noble edition which is beautiful, so definitely adds to the spooky feel.

What's your favourite books to read in October?

Etsy Halloween Shops To Check Out

Etsy Halloween UK Shops
- All links in this blog post are affiliate links. For more info head to my disclaimer. -

Decorating my home for Halloween is one of my favourite seasonal activities and although I've put up most of my decorations already, I'm still keeping an eye out for some new additions. Etsy is always a great place to start as they tend to have unique pieces for the home, but you can also fill your wardrobe with some spooky pieces at the same time too.

For the home, I've been eying up this Ghost Tassel Garland as they're so adorable - plus they can fit in multiple places around the house. If you want something a little bit more obvious then these Ghost Window Stickers are perfect and so cute for putting out on the 31st.

I feel like velvet pumpkins have been all the rage this year, but they're so hard to get your hands on because they sell out so quickly. This Plush Orange Pumpkin comes in a variety of sizes meaning they can go throughout the home with ease and they're reusable meaning you can bring them out year upon year. Another pick that I think would be a favourite for years to come is this Hanging Cauldron Burner which would look so cool on a mantelpiece.

When it comes to clothing, Etsy have a lot to offer around Halloween. Their t-shirts and jumpers are unique, the only downside is deciding which one to choose. I think this
Pumpkin T-Shirt is my favourite and I feel like it can be easily worn with anything, but I also think this Floral Ghost Shirt is adorable. Another one I like the look of is this Ghost Bat T-Shirt which comes in an array of colours and is great if you're a fan of the understated Halloween look.

If you want to stay a little warmer, then definitely check out this Dancing Screams Sweatshirt or Pumpkin Embroidered Jumper as they both look super snuggly - plus I feel like you can get away with wearing these outside of October.

For accessories, I also find Etsy is my first port of call. I've mentioned these Maple Leaf Earrings before, but I have to feature them here as well as they're just so Autumnal and pretty. If you're looking for more Halloween accessories, then these Cute Little Ghost Earrings or these Pumpkin Polymer Earrings are great too.

Have you checked out Etsy for Halloween?

The Best Seasonal Autumn Jumpers

Best Seasonal Autumn Jumpers Fall Sweaters

- If a product is marked with a * it is a PR sample, but was sent under no obligation to review. All links in this post are affiliate links. -

Now that it is the officially the season of crunchy leaves, pumpkin patches and cosy knits, I thought now would be the perfect time to do a round up of my favourite seasonal Autumn jumpers.

It was Joanie's Fox Jumper* that started this post off as it has gained quite the following online. With a fox, squirrel and mushroom print on the front and the jumper being the perfect thickness for the cold weather, I feel like if I could, I'd wear this jumper everyday. Joanie's amazing range of jumpers doesn't stop there as their Red Apple Jumper* is another favourite of mine, but it's their newly released Ghost Jumper that has caught my attention the most.

You probably wouldn't have thought about checking out Etsy for clothing, but I always like to have a look at their new seasonal offerings. This Dancing Screams Jumper is currently on my wishlist as I think it looks so comfy and if you're looking for a understated Halloween pick, then this is perfect! I also love the simplicity of this Pumpkin Embroidered Sweatshirt which comes in a forest green shade perfect for this time of the year.

If you're looking to splurge on a seasonal jumper then I would recommend checking out KJP as they offer some great pieces. I've been eyeing up this Big Cozy Leaf Sweater for some time as I think it would go with everything in the Autumn season, although I have also been looking at  the Pumpkin Sweater which is just as adorable - what a hard choice to make!

10 Activites To Do This Autumn

10 Activites To Do This Autumn

 "Autumn…the year's last, loveliest smile."

Autumn goes by far too quickly every year, so despite it only starting, I already feel like it's slipping away week upon week. That being said, I've made it my mission this year to make the most of my favourite season making sure to tick everything off my to-do list. With the leaves turning crisp and the air getting colder, I thought now is the perfect time to give you inspiration on what to do this Autumn.

Visit A Pumpkin Patch Probably one of my favourite Autumn traditions is going to a pumpkin patch. They're popping up all over the UK now, so it's easy to get to one (or three!) every season to pick out pumpkins to carve or eat.

Decorate For Autumn I've already decorated for Autumn in *cough* August, but if you haven't already, then now would be the perfect time to do so. Think about switching out your cushions, hanging fairy lights and putting out pumpkins on display - maybe even fill a snack dish up with your favourite spooky snack!

Read A Spooky Book Over the next few weeks, I'll be focusing on some horror reads as I love to be a little bit spooked throughout October. Why not try a classic like Dracula by Bram Stoker or one more suited to children like Small Spaces by Katherine Arden.

Collect Conkers, Pine Cones and Leaves I think one of my joys of this season is all the little things Autumn has to offer. I love nothing more than wrapping up warm for a rainy walk around the woods to find conkers, pine cones and the biggest leaves.

Have A Cosy Night In Grab your favourite blanket, get into your snuggliest PJ's and settle down with a childhood classic that makes you feel nostalgic. Having a cosy night in during Autumn is one of my favourite activities and despite being simple, sometimes going out all makes all the difference. I personally love to light lots of candles, dim the lights and have a duvet day on the sofa.

10 Activites To Do This Autumn

Go To A Corn Maize If I'm honest I've never considered going to corn fields around Halloween before until this year, but I went a week or so ago and I'm obsessed. If you've got children it's the perfect activity and a great way to spend the afternoon. A lot more places are opening up the UK featuring hay rides, corn maizes and pumpkin patches all in one place!

Bake Your Favourite Snacks Turning my favourite treats into Halloween themed snacks is something I aim to do every year. Why not make a savoury spooky board up featuring mummy sausage rolls and spider olives or go for a sweet version with bat brownies and pumpkin apple pies

Visit A Haunted House One of my new traditions (although it's been on pause for a couple of years now) is going to a haunted house experience. They often have talented actors set up in certain situations from horror films, so you can walk around with your group of friends to get an almighty spook.

If haunted house experiences aren't your thing and you prefer the real deal, then there's lots of abandoned castles throughout the country that you can visit.

Put Together A Playlist Putting together seasonal playlists on Spotify brings me so much joy as there's so many songs that I associate with certain seasons. For Halloween, I like to put together a playlist that has some of the old classics as well as the understated modern picks.

Go Apple Picking It may be a little late in the season now to visit an apple orchard, but definitely add it to next years to-do list. Going apple picking feels like a wholesome way to spend an afternoon and getting to go home with your loot to bake a delicious apple pie or crumble.

What's on your Autumn to-do list?

Decorating for Autumn brings me so much joy, I think I love it equally as much as I do putting up my Christmas decorations. The cosy additions and warm tones really add to the comforting feel and I love filling spaces up with soft furnishings and cinnamon scented candles.

I feel like I need to mention my bedding first as I get multiple questions about it a day. It's the Matalan Pumpkin Duvet Cover and I absolutely adore it. Not only does it look amazing and is on the understated side until you look closer, it's on it's second year and is showing little wear and tear. Although it's a little different to the pumpkin one, I'm still eyeing up this Dunelm Forest Duvet Cover as I love the burgundy and Winter themed print.

On top of my bed I use the H&M Velvet Cushions, but of course my pumpkin plush cushion takes centre show. Although I can't link my exact one, I have found this Velvet Rust Pumpkin Decoration on Etsy which I think is just as adorable! I picked up this Target Pumpkin Blanket and despite being a couple of years ago, this throw has stayed soft and I use it all the time when I want to snuggle up with a candle, a cup of a tea and a book.

Over my headboard and around my mirror, I have an Autumn Leaf Garland which I think is probably my favourite addition to my bedroom as it immediately adds colour and warmth to the space - plus the leaves really feel like you're adding a bit of the outside indoors. Talking of decorations around my bed, although it doesn't change, my Urban Outfitters Moon Banner feels like it stands out even more in the Autumn and Winter months as I love the celestial feel.

I have sneaked a few of my Bat Wall Decorations into my bedroom and although I know it's a little early still, I really love these as I struggle with Halloween decorations for this area. I have also added in some Pumpkin Shaped Fairy Lights across my shelving unit as the orange hued illumination looks great!

Autumn Kitchen Decor Finds

Autumn Fall Kitchen Decor Ideas

With lots of Halloween bakes coming up, I thought I should share with you some of my favourite Autumnal kitchen finds. Hopefully they'll give you some ideas for your own decorations or maybe even inspire yourself to get baking.

I have to mention the Anthropologie Harvest Juice Glasses first of all because I cannot believe we've finally got them here in the UK and I feel like they're going to sell out quickly. I was hoping for the pumpkin one, but the candy corn and autumn leaf ones are just as cute!

Talking of drink ware, I get asked a lot of questions about my seasonal mugs and I feel very proud because they're quite special to me. Although I've picked them up from various places over the years, I wanted to find pieces that were as close to mine as possible. If you're from America then this Pumpkin Shaped Mug is near perfect, but if you're from the UK like myself, then maybe check out Amazon's Option Here

My Witches Brew Mug is absolutely adorable and I think that the ceramic black finish makes it a perfect pick if you want to keep your drinks warmer for longer. Although my ghost mug was picked up from Homesense (a favourite shop of mine!), I haven't found one similar yet, however I did come across this Halloween Spooky Iced Coffee Glass and I am absolutely obsessed with it.

For my orange garland, I made it myself using Dried Orange Slices and a thin piece of thread. It was super easy and I think it's so effective in adding some extra colour in this area of my kitchen. Another question I get asked is where my red mixing bowl is from and although mine is many years old now, I found this Three Piece Batter Bowl Set which is super similar.

I have a set up with my Wooden Cake Slice which I think is great at adding a little bit of the outside in. On top I have a Mini Fox Planter as well as a pumpkin dish which I change up depending on the season. I also picked up a Pumpkin Shaped Trivet perfect for letting your fresh bakes cool on.

Decorating My Living Room For Autumn

Autumn Fall Home Decor Living Room

It goes without saying that Autumn is my favourite season. There's something about the crunchy leaves, the changing colours and the excuse to wear cosy knits everyday that just brings a smile to my face. If there's one thing that I could say brings me the biggest amount of joy it's got to be decorating and after finally tracking down some last minute bits, I feel like my living room is now complete.

My living room is the area I spend most of my time in especially when it comes to unwinding and relaxing at the end of the day. Our fireplace definitely creates the perfect starting point for building a cosy scene, where I can add piles of pumpkins, candles and decorative ornaments like ghosts and candlesticks.

In October, I tend to transform my reading nook into a spooky corner with hanging witches hats overhead, but for now, I've opted for a Autumn Wreath which I thought added colour (and more pumpkins!) to the area nicely. My statement chair, which is usually accessorised with a sequin studded cushion has been replaced with a Velvet Bat Cushion (similar to the one linked) which I think adds an early Halloween feel without being too OTT.

Talking of my fireplace, if you're looking for a Free Standing Log Burner then I'd definitely recommend going for it as I've had mine for several years and I love it when the weather gets colder. I like to compliment it even further by adding some Delicate Fairy Lights which are my favourite addition when it gets dark as all I have to do is turn them on and light a couple of candles to get the ultimate cosy feel.

Keeping with the bat theme, the Self Adhesive Bats have made a comeback this year and I will never get over how cute they look around my mirror. I've made it my mission to keep adding little details like this throughout my home as it fills out areas the more bare areas around my house. This Pumpkin Garland is a great example of a super versatile pieces as there's a variety of places you can put them - why not even try them vertically as well.

Sometimes, the simplest decor is the most effective and in my case I tend to go by my own motto - if in doubt, add more pumpkins! I like to add to my stash throughout the season, especially after going pumpkin picking when I can showcase my loot around my fireplace.

In terms of my sofa, I've convinced myself that despite not needing anymore blankets this year, I did need a little refresh when it came to cushions. I picked up a Plaid Cushion (similar to the one linked) which I think was a great option as I haven't got anything like it, plus it adds colour to this rather plain area. I also have this Ghost Cushion which I think is super cute and it contrasts my Velvet Mustard Cushions well.
