I last did a makeup mess post over a year ago now and I used to love doing these posts whenever I wanted to have a ramble about what products I'd been wearing even if they had little to no correlation. I've been rediscovering old favourites, giving products a second try and also relying on one particularly base to get me through the awkward transitional stage my skin is in right now.

I don't know whether it's because the Milk Makeup Baked Bronzer stole the show, but I don't feel like I've been giving the other Milk products I bought the attention they deserve, so I made it my mission mid March to give them another try especially as I want to do a follow up post about my must-haves and the ones to miss. The Luminous Blur Stick is what's on review today as although it blurs my pores as the name would suggest and when paired when a full coverage foundation, it does my makeup look smoother, I'm not sure that I can see any difference between this one and the original. I'm trying to work it into my skin in different ways and as my complexion has been really rather temperamental recently, I don't want to give up with it just yet!

The base I've been loving so much recently is the Erborian BB Crème* which I'm currently using up the last of. It's a unique formula for me as it's thicker in texture that I expect, offers a good amount of coverage, but looks super natural on the skin. Even if I've got dry patches or my skin is feeling sensitive, this will always blur any imperfections I may have and deliver that healthy-dewy finish that I love.

I've really gotten back into my pot concealers in the last couple of weeks, the Nars Soft Matte and Glossier Stretch being the two that I've currently got in my makeup bag. When paired with a Beauty Blender, they both look undetectable on the skin, whilst covering any blemishes I have. I prefer something else for underneath the eyes usually, but when I'm having a bit of a no-makeup day, I do love using these dotted all over.

For blushers, I've been switching between three, one cream and the other two powders. I'm quite predicable when it comes to my colour choices at this time of the year as I'm a sucker for anything peachy, pinky or coral, so the Glossier Haze Cloud Paint is a little out my comfort zone. It's great for adding a dose of colour to the apples of my cheeks and it can be really sheered out for just a slight tint. The Milani Tea Rose Blusher (just look at it!) and Nars Orgasm* are super gorgeous and ones that I seem to be coming back to a lot recently.

Eyes and lips wise, I'm still using my daily favourites, but I've started to add the Charlotte Tilbury Jeans Eyes To Mesmerise Pot* into my routine especially when I'm going out for a date night or party. It adds just a slight sparkle to the lid without needing to commit to a full smokey eye look. The Nudestix Purity Intense Matte Pencil* is what I've been wearing all the time as it gives the illusion of fuller, plumper lips in only a few seconds and is super easy to use on the go.

What make-up have you been wearing recently?
