Origins Super Spot Remover |
Origins Super Spot Remover | £15 | Link
Origins is a skincare brand that has been talked about on blogs, raved about by many and has become the skincare brand of choice for many bloggers. Origins Super Spot Remover has been on my wishlist for over two years now, but I could never justify the increasing price, however I finally took the plunge and I can now conclude that I don't know how I ever lived without it.
For 10ml of product, £15 may seem like a lot, but this pinky sized bottle goes a long way. This product promises to heal and fade blemishes fast. Salicylic acid is used to exfoliate the skin and decrease inflammation, whilst the added Caffeine and Red-Algae helps to reduce any sign of redness. At first the initial potent scent put me off, however once you got used to the odd mix of fragrances, you started to appreciate this miracle worker a lot more. I apply a thin layer around three times a day to any pesky blemishes and as it dries matte it won't leave a shiny film or any evidence that you have it on your skin. The thick gel-like texture never feels heavy on my skin, so it can sometimes be tempting to over-apply.
Even though no product is going to get rid of a blemish in five minutes, this does significantly reduce redness and inflammation from the get-go. Since using this I no longer have to suffer with blemishes that won't go for days, instead when I first see a spot appearing, I dab a bit of this on and I am good to go. I find that after one day the spot is significantly reduced and after two days it is gone. If you suffer from an odd blemish or two I am sure this will quickly become one of your holy grail products. Even though the price may initially put you off, a little goes a long way and the price is totally worth it.
Great post! How do you apply this, with a Q-tip?

I apply it with a clean finger x
ReplyDeleteI dont get them often but it would be a nice keep for those niggly ones
ReplyDeleteThis sounds fabulous! I've heard of it, but never really looked into it. I get the odd blemish and they're always super stubborn, so I think I will add this to my list.

I love this tiny miracle bottle. It also took me a while to splash out on it but so worth it. My first one lasted almost a year so great value. It's not raved about as much as it should be in my opinion x
