I often share my favourite beauty and fashion picks with you, but when it comes to sharing what I've been reading, watching and listening to lately, I tend to be a tad more slack. I've dedicated today's post to all of my current transitional lifestyle favourites and I hope you find it interesting!
I've been listening to Lana Del Rey's album pretty much on repeat since it came out, it's Norman Fucking Rockwell for those of you who are yet to give it a listen. I've been a fan of hers since the very beginning, so I would never have a bad word to say about any of her albums, but this has safely been put at number 2 on my favourite spot - it's just SO good! My go-to songs keep changing, but California, The greatest and Bartender are definitely three of my favourites.
The Great British Bake Off is back! I'm obsessed this year and as long as you've got snacks at arms length, you'll be good for the hour and half that it is on. It's great to switch off at the end of the day and I'm all rooting for certain bakers. It's the epitome of Autumn to me, so I'm excited that it's on our televisions again.
Talking of food, I've been enjoying experimenting with various recipes as I'm still clinging onto the fruit of Summer in a coconut milk, mango and pineapple smoothie in the morning, but going for a warming dinner in the evening of Quorn fajitas with chilli black beans, smashed avocado and halloumi.
I know I'm very late to the party, but I've started watching Breaking Bad for the first time. The trailer being released for the film prompted me to give it a go again and I'm loving it! It's definitely binge watch worthy, so I'm not sure how people managed to wait between each series to be fair. I'm looking forward to the film coming out this Autumn, but I'll be sad once it's all over.
If music or TV isn't your thing, then I've found a new podcast to listen to - Help, I Sexted My Boss. It's great if you want to take 30 minutes out of your day to have a laugh on your way into work or whilst you're walking to the shops. I'm glad I've found it, but I've made my way through all the episodes at a rapid rate. Of course, I have to mention that My Dad Wrote A Porno is back with a brand new series and it's one of my favourite all-time podcasts, so it's great to have new episodes to look forward to again.
