Autumn Lifestyle Favourites

The golden tones, crisp leaves and morning air of Autumn all make my heart sing at this time of the year and despite talking about my Autumnal makeup a lot, it's actually the lifestyle favourites of this season that I'm talking about today.

Mine and Tom's birthdays have to be up at the top of the list because I love having celebrations in Autumn as all the colours are lovely, there's a slight chill in the air and well.. it's just my favourite season in general isn't it? Tom's birthday is on Friday and I've got a few things planned to celebrate. Of course mine was on the 5th where went to a Jazz and Gin festival, out for a comedy night and for drinks with friends too.

We've already been to a pumpkin patch to fill our house up, but I'm already thinking of ways to go back. It's such a lovely afternoon out and a great way to spend a Sunday if it's your kind of thing. Our favourite pumpkin farm is one that has a market too which means you can grab yourself some fresh fruit and vegetables to cook up a storm in the kitchen later on too.

Aside from everything we've been getting up to, we've been watching some new TV series too. We've already devoured Killing Eve in only two sittings and we're both patiently waiting for the second season to air next year. The Handmaid's Tale has been another one we've been loving, but as it's quite heavy to watch we've taken a little longer to get through it. As for podcasts, we've done poorly at keeping the new series of My Dad Wrote A Porno and we're now all caught up, so we're listening week by week instead. It's a super funny pick if you fancy a giggle on your lunch break or on your commute to work.

My Autumn favourites aren't always about big days out, but it's also about the little things. I love being able to go out for evening walks, feeling the cold breeze on my face and watching the lights flicker in people's house - before we know it whole streets will be filled with Christmas decorations! I'm getting back into drinking mugs of hot tea or hot chocolate and I've been making some of my favourite cosy meals like vegetarian toad in the hole with extra veg too.

What are your Autumn lifestyle favourites?
