Winter Essentials

Does anybody feel like this year has flown by? I've given up clutching onto my Summer dresses, I've hung up my sandals and have now swapped them for boots and many, many layers. As we're heading into the dark and colder months, I thought I'd better give you the low down on my winter essentials and the products I swear by to get me through these up and coming months.

Vaseline Spray and Go Body Moisturiser | £3.33 | Link
I am fairly lazy when it comes to moisturising, like many people, you miss a day and you end up missing a week. Every now and then, a beauty product is created and it shakes up the beauty world. For me this was the spray and go moisturisers. They're fast drying and easy to use, and they have quickly become a go-to product not only in the winter, but all year around. Spritz on, quickly rub in and you're good to go. I couldn't live without it.

Lush Santa's Lip Scrub | £5.50 | Link
As a Lush and Coke fanatic I couldn't contain my excitement when they finally released a cola flavoured lip scrub. I was previously converted to Bubblegum lip scrub a few years back. I am prone to dry lips in the winter and end up having to slather on lip balm in order to feel slightly alive and human. Lip scrubs always seemed like they would be painful due to lips being so sensitive, but in fact they did my lips wonders and I haven't looked back. I would recommend you stock up on your Santa's Lip Scrub due to them being limited edition this Christmas.

Thierry Mugler Alien | Price varies | Link
How can you have a season essentials without including a perfume. I am a sucker for a strong scent and this ticks all the right boxes *enter sexual and quite frankly useless perfume description*. It might not be to everybody's taste, but I enjoy the strong, long lasting scent, which I get complimented on daily. Bonus. Truly one of my favourite scents this year.

Schwarzkopf Got2b Oil-Licious Styling Oil | £3.99 | Link
As previously mentioned in a recent post, this styling oil has quickly become a go-to product. I suffer with dry ends all year around, but in the Winter my hair gets overly exposed to all types of weather resulting in damaged, dry, lifeless hair that often needs a deep conditioner and a good looking after. I apply this product both before I blow dry my hair and when I come to style it, and afterwards I am left with bouncy, super soft, nourished hair. Now who wouldn't want that?
