Four In-Shower Moisturisers

If there's one part of my nightly routine that I hate doing, it's moisturising my  body. Especially around this time of the year when it's essential to soothe parched skin, but you can't bring yourself to stand around naked in the cold. In-shower moisturisers have been part of my routine for some time now and they're not only great time savers, they help to moisturise your body without even leaving your shower.

First up is the newest addition, the Glossier Body Hero Daily Oil Wash, a lightweight offering that goes from a nourishing oil to a soft froth when it comes in to contact with water. As someone who goes through a lot of dirt, grime and mud on a regular basis, I am always looking for a shower product that will cut through it all and get me clean in the quickest time. This is not only brilliant at cleaning, but it's a great addition to my shaving routine too. I was originally worried about the orange blossom neroli scent as I've heard it was too overpowering, but I am smitten with the fresh scent and it reminds me of a Lush product, but I can't quite put my finger on which one it is.

A long serving favourite of mine is the Lush Rose Argan Body Conditioner, which is a rich and intense moisturiser. Out of the whole line up, this is the one that leaves the most residue on the skin, but it isn't a tacky or sticky residue that could get annoying, but one that makes you feel like you're being moisturised even after initial application. Aside from the way it makes my body feel, the scent is absolutely delicious - Almost good enough to eat!

A new addition to my shower routine is the Bilou Tasty Doughnut Shower Foam*, a product I was originally skeptical about despite having a love affair with foam shower gels. The scents of their whole range sound amazing, but it was really the Tasty Doughnut fragrance that had me hooked, as although it's sweet, it's quite 'grown up' also. It's lightweight, nourishing and leaves my skin feeling clean.

The Zoella Shower Shake was one that I picked up in the Summer and I can't believe it's still going. You only need a little bit to cover your whole body and the elderflower,  pomegranate scent with the nourishing formula makes for a skin treat in the shower. It's another one that I love to use when shaving and it's great if my body is feeling rather parched.

I have to give a quick mention to my first in-shower moisturiser love, the L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil. It still remains one of my favourite pamper products, but due to trying out several similar products, I haven't been able to justify repurchasing another one. It's just a perfect Winter treat for dehydrated skin and the scent is heavenly too.
